Meet The Team

Samantha Hadson

I’m the founder of Bark&Go and hold a BSc (Hons) in Animal Biology from Nottingham Trent University. My passion for animal welfare has been built through both academic study and hands-on experience working with dogs in boarding kennels, rescue, and rehoming environments. I’ve also gained practical experience working with poultry and cattle through opportunities at Brackenhurst and the Newark County Show.

I have a strong interest in animal nutrition, behaviour, and training, and I’m passionate about understanding what helps animals live healthy, fulfilled lives both physically and mentally. I’m particularly passionate about working breeds and love ensuring they are properly fulfilled through breed-specific enrichment, training, exercise, and mental stimulation tailored to their natural instincts and needs.

A huge part of my journey has been adopting my rescue German Shepherd, Diesel. Welcoming Diesel into my life opened my heart to rescue dogs and gave me a deeper understanding of the patience, consistency, and dedication needed to help dogs truly thrive. Through training, trust-building, and understanding his individual needs, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible transformation that compassionate care can make.

Bark&Go was created from this passion — to provide trusted, knowledgeable, and compassionate care for every dog, treating them as individuals and always putting their wellbeing first.
