Yes, Bark&Go! is fully insured through Protectivity for all of our services.

Is Bark&Go! the right fit for my dog?

Bark&Go! provides solo walks for both reactive, unsociable dogs who just need that little bit of extra patience, love, and care and dogs who could beneift from some 1-1 time, as well as group walks for sociable, friendly pooches who love being around other dogs (groups size from 2-5 dogs).

Dog Walking

How long are dog walks?

Dog walks with Bark&Go! are from 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes; this allows you to choose the right walk time to best suit your dog, allowing age, breed, and energy level to all be accounted for.

Are dogs walked in groups?

Bark&Go! provides both solo and group walks; group walks are made up of 2-5 dogs.

Where do you walk the dogs?

Solo walks are carried out within your local area; walks are a mix of pavement, field, and woodland areas allowing your dog to explore different terrains and areas. Groups are transported to a woodland/field environment or to a secure paddock.

Are dogs allowed off lead?

This entirely depends upon the individual dogs recall, and environment. Safety is our main priority and so if your dog cannot be let off lead we will use a long line to ensure every dog can have freedom to explore whilst still being safe. All owners who want their dog to be off-lead will be required to form an 'off-lead' waiver prior to any off-lead walks.

Behavioural + Training Walks

Do dogs recieve training during walks?

Although our main focus is exercise and enrichment we will always incorporate some basic training into our walks - recall, loose lead walking, engagement, neutrality, and building confidence. Including basic training is also a great method of building the bond between walker and dog.

Can structured walks help with behavioural issues?

More often than not structured walks help lower behavioural issues; higher levels of stimulation and strucutre help build calmer and more fulfilled dogs.

Safety & Welfare

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?

Yes all dogs in our care must be fully vaccinated to ensure total safety of all dogs we care for including our own.

What equipment should my dog have?

They must by law have a collar with ID tag containing owners information. Please ensure collar is well fitted. A lead should also be provided and a harness if your dog has one - if not a collar is absolutely fine.

What happens if an emergency occurs?

In the unlikely chance of an emergency we will immediately contact you before taking your dog to their registered vets (if necessary); if we cannot reach you we will make the decision to transport your dog to the vets and stay with them until necessary.
